Brandon was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He graduated from Hofstra University in 2020 with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Fine Arts. While at Hofstra he worked under Dr. Emily Mundorff with research focusing on directed evolution for bioremediation purposes. When pursuing his PhD at Brandeis he decided to combine his passion for chemistry and biochemistry in the total synthesis of natural products. Outside of the lab he enjoys pottery, reading and trying new foods.
