Jonathan Weber

Jon is from Schwenksville, Pennsylvania, and has lived in the area for most of his life. He received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The Pennsylvania State University, where he briefly did research in the Nacsa research group. During this time, he developed a great interest in synthetic organic chemistry. Hoping to continue doing research, he started his PhD program at Brandeis University where he quickly found his place in the newly formed Ting research group. When not ‘at the bench’, he enjoys lifting weights, playing bass, watching films, and playing video games. Although he misses Pennsylvania (mostly Wawa), he is already settling into Massachusetts, and is excited to make Brandeis his new home.
